PARKER AND GILLSON .
Photographs of the Winch Out Point used on 9 November 1965 by A Company to winch out their WIA have been provided by Mr Gordon Peterson and have been published. These shots, here and here, may help those who were not in that area in 1965 to appreciate the vegetative cover that existed around Hill 82.
HERBERT AND CARVER.
The Southeast Asia Data Base (SEADAB) is now on line. The resource is known as the Access to Archival Databases (AAD) System and gives details of the combat air missions involving all the U.S. military services, as well as those of allied air forces during the period January 1970 to June 1975. Take a look at the site here. Mission No.6115 is in the AAD System but the columns headed TARGET UTM COORDINATE, TARGET GEOGRAPHIC COORDINATE, OPERATION SUPPORTED are blank. Interestingly enough, the cause of the loss is given as Surface to Air Missile.

GILLESPIE.
Further Evidence of Location of Crash Site. Some new information regarding a visit to the crash site by an 17 or 18 year old male student in 1981 has been received and the location advised in the reference document (GS 4750) is consistent with the location previously predicted. See the document here.

- Operation Dong Khoi III: Day 3 - 18 Apr 71. Recovery of the Bodies of Albertson and Blakhurst is explained here.
- No physical Inspection of Crash Site after 18 April 1971. Recorded evidence available indicates that allied forces did not visit the crash site (after Les Maher and party on 18 Apr 71) to confirm the extent of incineration of Gillespie's body.
- Location of the Crash Site. The "officially" recorded location of GR YS 475 507 is incorrect. Read about it here.
- The Gillespie File. All relevant references that are publicly available will be published on this website, respecting the privacy of individuals and, additionally, the sensitivity of the material itself.
